Found a very useful web site with lots and lots of 12c manuscripts. Some were useful for garb research for my 12th century class (Bibl. Ste-Gen., mss. 0008, 0009, 0010, 0056, 0077) and others would be great resources for scribes or anyone looking for 12c decorative motifs. The site, Liber Floridus, has digital displays of mss. from two French libraries: Bibliothèque Sainte-Geneviève and Bibl. Mazarin. Between them there are almost 1600 mss. and 31,000 images. There are later period mss. as well. I haven’t even gotten to the Mazarin collection yet, but I just had to share this one . . .
