According to the ancient Gaelic Brehon laws the requirements of a Filidh were; ‘purity of hand, bright without wounding, purity of mouth, without poisonous satire, purity of learning, without reproach, purity of vows.’

This is a good excuse to clean up your pottymouth. I find it amusing that this one small quote, referencing “purity of mouth” and “purity of hand” means more to me than this (also very interesting) document by Zsof; “Becoming a Peer” which, among a bunch of other cool things, also says to clean up your potty mouth, sailor boy.
